Luce Arbour

Surrounded by nature, Luce was introduced to outdoor sports at a very young age. Her easy access to the mountains didn’t give her a choice but to explore her surroundings in any way possible: hiking, canoeing, snowboarding, backcountry skiing, mountain biking…

Year after year, she continued to strengthen her experience on the slopes: she skis since she’s 3 years old, started snowboarding at 10, and at around 14, she was exploring the backcountry. She moved back to her native Gaspésie a few years ago, where she spends her winters in the majestic mountains of Parc de la Gaspésie, in the Chic-Chocs and in other areas, such as Maria, developed by the FQME. She has also been a guide-ambassador for the White Lips event for three years now. She is not afraid to get involved in the world of backcountry skiing including safety in avalanche terrain.
