Phil Emond
Born in Montreal
Phil started skiing at a very young age. His modus operandi has always been to follow the snowstorms across Quebec. He spent a few years in Rimouski for his studies during the 2010s, and discovered the mountains of the Gaspé Peninsula and their incredible potential when they were still only a well-kept secret (the good old times!!!). It’s during these first adventures that his love and passion for backcountry skiing were born. After his navigation training, he moved to Whistler to live the ski bum life and explore BC. During his escapades, he discovered that he had an undeniable talent for photography and now documents all of his trips. Nowadays, he spends half of his time navigating the Saint-Lawrence River and the other half exploring mountains whether it’s summer or winter
